AIA National Conference Promotion T&Cs

1. This Promotion is provided by Trilogy Funds Management Limited (the Promotor) ABN 59 080 383 679 AFSL 261425.

 

2. Information on how to qualify for this Promotion forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Entering this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

 

3. The prize is a Rebel Sport Gift Card with a value of AUD$200.

 

4. This Promotion commences 27 March 2022 at 1:30pm AEST and closes 30 March 2022 at 2:45pm AEST.

 

5. This Promotion is open only to registered attendees to the 2022 AIA National Conference held between 27 March 2022 and 30 March 2022. By entering this promotion, you warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements and acknowledge the Promoter’s right to disqualify any entrants that breach these Terms and Conditions pursuant to clause 20.

 

6. To enter this Promotion, the entrant must have their 2022 AIA National Conference lanyard scanned by a member of the Promoter. Each entrant is strictly limited to one (1) entry into the Promotion.

 

7. The Promotion is not open to employees of the Promoter or any of its related entities. This exclusion extends to employees’ spouse, de facto spouse, parent, child and sibling.

 

8. The winner will be drawn on a lucky draw basis on 4 April 2022. Entrants are not required or permitted to be present at the draw unless expressly stated to the contrary.

 

9. The winning entrant will be notified via the email address provided by the entrant no later than 6 April 2022. If the winning entrant does not have an email address, they will be contacted via the phone number provided. The winning entrant must respond to the notification and claim the prize within 2 business days from the date of the notification. If the prize is not claimed by the winning entrant within this time frame, the prize will be redrawn and all previous winners will forfeit all claims to the prize.

 

10. The Promoter will send the prize by registered post within 5 business days from the date the prize is claimed by the winner pursuant to clause 9.

 

11. The Promoter is not liable and accepts no responsibility if it is unable to contact an entrant due to incorrect or incomplete contact details provided by the entrant. If an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter.

 

12. The Promoter is not liable and accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to the prize in transit to the winning entrant. The Promoter is under no obligation to issue a replacement prize, but may, in its sole discretion, decide to do so. If a replacement prize is issued, entrants acknowledge that the replacement prize may not be the same prize stipulated by clause 3.

 

13. The Promoter is not liable and accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, delayed, incomplete, incorrectly submitted or corrupted entries, whether due to omission, error, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, disruption to any communication network or medium, or otherwise including those entries not received by the Promoter for any reason.

 

14. The prize is not transferrable and is not redeemable for cash, interests in a scheme operated by the Promoter or any other asset or interest. The Promoter is not liable, and no compensation will be payable, if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated.

 

15. To the greatest extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all warranties, representations or guarantees (Warranties) regarding this Promotion and any prizes, including any Warranties which may have been made in the course of advertising or promoting the Promotion. By entering this Promotion, an entrant releases and indemnifies the Promoter and its related entities (including the officers and employees of each) from and against all actions, penalties, liabilities, claims or demands the entrant may have against the Promoter or that the Promoter may incur for any loss or damage which is or may be suffered or sustained as a direct or indirect result of an entrant entering or participating in this Promotion or winning or failing to win a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law or which would cause any part of this clause to be void or unenforceable.

 

16. Pursuant to clause 15, if the Promoter incurs a liability to an entrant under any law which implies a Warranty into these Terms and Conditions which cannot legally be excluded, the Promoter’s liability in respect of this Promotion is limited, in the Promoter’s discretion, to either resupplying the prize on offer under this Promotion or paying the cost of resupplying the prize on offer.

 

17. By entering this Promotion, entrants accept that the Promoter will collect personal data of the entrant including, but not limited to, the entrants name, email address, phone number and company. The Promoter will store all information collected in accordance with its Privacy Policy which is available on the Promoter’s website or can be requested by contacting the Promoter directly.

 

18. By entering this Promotion, entrants acknowledge that, in addition to the facilitation of this Promotion, the Promoter collects the entrants’ personal data to use for promotional and marketing purposes. Entrants consent to the use of their personal data in the manner set out in this condition. Entrants may at any time opt out of receiving any promotional or marketing materials by unsubscribing to any communications and may at any time withdraw their consent to their personal data being used for promotional or marketing purposes by contacting the Promoter.

 

19. Entrants consent to the Promoter disclosing personal data to third parties as required for the facilitation of this Promotion.

 

20. If this Promotion is incapable of being run by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State regulation.

 

21. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify an entrant from the Promotion if the entrant breaches the Terms and Conditions of this Promotion, engages in acts or omissions that are likely to cause detriment to the Promoter or otherwise participates in a manner that is likely to adversely impact the interests of the Promoter, AIA or other entrants.

 

22. The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, make decisions concerning any aspect of this Promotion. Any decision made by the Promoter in relation to any aspect of this Promotion is final and binding on all entrants.

24. For the avoidance of doubt, the laws of Queensland apply to this Promotion and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
