From site selection to settlement, Trilogy Funds offers bespoke funding options to accommodate changing borrower needs.
Trilogy Funds recently provided a financing solution to support the development of 35 two-bedroom apartments across two architecturally designed buildings in Spotswood, just 8 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD. The apartments will be delivered across two buildings, one consisting of five storeys and the other three storeys.
Melbourne faces a housing supply shortage, particularly in well-connected inner suburbs. This project addresses that need by delivering affordable, quality apartments in a location with strong demand and limited competing stock.
The apartments are designed for first-home buyers and property investors, offering an entry-level price point in a highly sought-after inner-west location. With proximity to Spotswood Retail Precinct, West Gate Freeway and Spotswood Railway Station, the development provides excellent connectivity and lifestyle appeal.
The prominent location of the site in Spotswood was subject to a scrutinous process to ensure all council permits were granted. The Sponsor sought a trusted lender who would not only be able to provide a financing solution for the development of the site, but also end-to-end support along the way.
Trilogy Funds was selected as the preferred lender, having an established relationship with the Sponsor after partnering on a prior successful industrial development in Truganina, Victoria. Our track record, funding experience and proactive risk management gave the Sponsor confidence to proceed.
In Spotswood, Trilogy Funds worked alongside the Sponsor for ten months, tailoring bespoke funding options as the needs of the borrower changed to align with council requirements.
